Senior Accessibility Engineer
Remote — US / EU · Full-time
Lead remediation work on real storefronts: audit against WCAG 2.2 AA, write the patches, and prove the fix with automated and assistive-technology testing.
What you'll do
- Audit Shopify, WooCommerce and custom storefronts against WCAG 2.2 AA
- Write and ship remediation patches in Liquid, React and vanilla JS
- Verify fixes with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only testing
- Set up regression monitoring so a theme update cannot undo the work
- Write the plain-English findings our customers actually read
What we're looking for
- 4+ years front-end engineering with deep HTML and ARIA knowledge
- Hands-on WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 AA remediation experience, not just auditing
- Fluency with axe-core, screen readers, and keyboard-only navigation
- Comfortable working directly in a customer's production theme
