Disclosure
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This page brings together important disclosures about our services. It is intended to set clear expectations about what Accessrank does and does not do. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
01Not legal advice
Accessrank is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or advice.
Our audits, reports, remediation, and settlement-support materials are technical services, not legal services. Nothing we provide constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney–client relationship. For advice about a specific demand letter, lawsuit, regulation, or your legal obligations under the ADA, the European Accessibility Act, Section 508, or any other law, consult a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.
02No guarantee against litigation
Improving accessibility conformance measurably reduces legal risk, and we work to bring sites to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. However, no product or service can guarantee that a website will never receive a demand letter or be named in a lawsuit. Any statistics we cite about lawsuit trends describe the market generally and are not a prediction about your specific outcome.
03Results & statistics
Figures shown on our website — including timelines, SEO and traffic uplifts, settlement costs, and conformance improvements — are drawn from third-party research and our own aggregated engagements. They are provided for illustration. Individual results vary based on your platform, catalog size, starting state, and other factors. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes, and any timeline (for example "as fast as 7 days") describes typical scope and is not a contractual commitment unless stated in your order form.
04Tax credit (Form 8826)
References to the IRS Disabled Access Credit (Form 8826) are general information based on the form as published and are not tax advice. The credit is subject to eligibility rules and limits, and is non-refundable. Accessrank is not a tax advisor. Confirm your eligibility and the treatment of any expense with a qualified tax professional before relying on it.
05Standards & conformance
WCAG 2.2 is a technical standard maintained by the W3C. Conformance is assessed against defined success criteria at a point in time. Because websites change continuously, conformance is best maintained through ongoing monitoring. A conformance report or VPAT reflects the state of the assessed pages at the time of assessment.
06Third-party names & trademarks
Platform names such as Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce, and any other product names referenced, are trademarks of their respective owners. Their use on this site is for identification and compatibility purposes only and does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
